WELCOME!
Thank you for your interest in my work. I am a Landscape photographer based in Colorado. My love for the outdoors has allowed me to connect with so many people who also enjoy the beauty and solace of nature.
About the Artist
Casey began his formal education in photography at the Colorado Mountain College, majoring in Fine Art Photography and returned to school a few years later and earned an Associates Degree in Photography from The Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. He has been a working professional photographer ever since. In addition to over 20 years in the catalog industry, his fine artwork has been displayed at numerous venues and art festivals. It is valued for its technical quality, diversity, beauty, and simplicity. In 2018 he left a corporate job and struck out on his own to pursue his passion for taking photos of the natural landscape full time, and teaching the art of photography to others. In 2020 he began teaching photography classes at Pikes Peak State College as part of their photography degree program.
Why I Love Photography
From the time when I was very young, I loved to explore the
natural world. I find meaning and solace in the forms and light found in
nature. I began experimenting with a camera at a young age, and I love the way
it allows me to interact with the world. I become one with the world around me
in a way that I don’t experience any other way. And I get to covey that to others. I'm grateful when my love of light and form, and connection with nature, comes through for the viewer.
