This image was taken from a high hilltop in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I had a clear view to the east and south of the city. A large thunderstorm was forming over the plains and as the sun set behind me the clouds lit up in a beautiful display of color. Then the moon began to appear and I captured this image, which remains one of my favorites. I use it in my business cards and other marketing.
